Missy Rump SCI Scholarship Project
Service Corporation International (SCI) is North America's leading provider of deathcare products and services. It offers a scholarship opportunity to students working on a degree in funeral services. Students interested in pursing the scholarship must create a video essay about themselves.
I created this video, along with Joey Martin of Martin Video Productions, and in association with WFYI Productions.
A word from the client, "Will was very easy to work with. He took my very basic idea and turned it into something beyond my imagination. The turn-around time was quicker than I expected, with a wonderful finished product."
-- Missy Rump, SCI Scholarship Applicant
Easterseals Crossroads Annual Report 2016
This is the third time I have worked with Easterseals Crossroads since the late summer of 2015.
For this series of videos, Easterseals Crossroads turned to me to create its annual report, with the added challenge of unveiling a new corporate look and mission statement of Live, Learn, Work, Play, and Act.
We highlighted one of its clients per each of the areas of Live, Learn, Work, Play, and Act. In addition to creating a 7:30 annual report, which features each clients' story, I created a 3:00-5:00 video for each client, which tells more of their story, and will help Easterseals Crossroads reach a wider audience.
A word from the client, "I have been fortunate to work with Will Baker on several videos projects now for Easterseals Crossroads. With each project, I have been so impressed by how he just instinctively knows what we are trying to accomplish and then guides the project to a terrific end. This year we did a major rebrand with new messaging; Will quickly gained a keen understanding of the desired outcome and projected that feeling in each story. We love the final results!"

Girl Scouts of Central Indiana
The Girl Scouts of Central Indiana: Lt. Governor's Leadership Luncheon is an annual event held at the Indianapolis Roof Ballroom. During this event, three Girls of Distinction are honored for their Gold Award projects. Also honored during the program are three women in the community, known for their pioneering spirits.
Girl Scout profiles include Shi Tuck, whose Gold Award Project was Space Day. Kamna Gupta who created a shoe drive for those in need, Patrice Hunter, who has Autism and put together a Disability Fair, and Belinda Blount-Keyser who created a video project entitled, Kisses, Lies, and Black Eyes, which shows young women the signs of abuse and self-harm.
While I produced all the videos, Neal Moore wrote the scripts, and Karly Krizmanich edited Shi and Patrice's videos.
A word from the client, "It was a pleasure working on these projects with Will. His preparation was thorough, and he asked terrific questions during the interviews to get the real heart of the story. I really appreciated how responsive he was to questions and feedback. I'd work again with him in a second!"

Coalition for Homeless Intervention and Prevention (CHIP) 2016 Celebration
This is the second time I worked for CHIP. This time around, CHIP hired me to produce three videos for its 20th anniversary. The first video looks back at what CHIP has accomplished over the past two decades, while the second video focuses on the future of the organziation. The third video features CHIP's Diamond Service Award winner; an award given to a formerly homeless person who is now giving back to the community.
Indiana Historical Society 2016 Indiana Living Legends
Every year the Indiana Historical Society honors a group of Indiana residents who exemplify what it means to be a Hoosier. WFYI hired me to produce the videos for this year's class, which include Mitch Daniels, Henry Leck, James H. Madison, Brian Payne, and Yvonne Shaheen.
A word from the client, "Our Indiana Living Legends Gala tribute videos are a huge undertaking, especially when it comes to scheduling interviews and coordinating logistics. Will's flexibility, spirit of collaboration and drive to deliver on deadline (often under pressure) were all greatly appreciated!"

Straight Jackets to Dust Jackets: A Look Between The Pages of An Evening With The Authors*
I developed this program to help promote a local stand-up comedy show. It was co-produced with WFYI Productions and distributed on SkyBlueWindow.org.
The video speaks to the show's producer, along with a number of regular performers about what this show means for their art and explore the ripple effect An Evening With The Authors* is having on the comedy scene in Indianapolis.
A word from the client, "Will came to me with the idea of producing a video about An Evening with the Authors* in order to expose the show to a broader audience. At first, I had no idea how he would take a show like this that's so difficult to describe and define, and do so succinctly without dumbing it down or muddying it up even further. Will shot some interviews with several regular contributors to the program and then recorded one of the shows. He was somehow able to put all this in a blender and come up with a really nice piece that perfectly represented the spirit of the show. All the while, making it seem effortless. He had a clear vision from the beginning and was able to see it through to the end. He's earned my trust."
-- Jim Leugers, Producer, An Evening with the Authors*
A Tribute to Jim "Big Pretty" Leugers
Jim was a good friend of mine, and shortly after he wrote those kind words, he passed away after a brave, but short fight with cancer. In his honor, I created this tribute video to remember my friend and his legacy.
Easter Seals Crossroads 2016 Ability Lunch
After working with Easter Seals Crossroads in the fall of 2015, I was once again hired to create videos for its Ability Lunch. The videos highlight two individuals, Kayla and Chris, who were left disabled after accidents. We look at their journey to overcome disability through the help of Easter Seals Crossroads.
Crispus Attucks High School Museum Virtual Tour
Working with WFYI and Ted Green Productions, I created this virtual tour of the Crispus Attucks High School Museum. A one-of-a-kind museum dedicated to the legacy of Indianapolis' former all-black high school. This video is a companion piece for Ted Green's documentary on Crispus Attucks High School, and will be used as part of a curriculum and lesson plan based on the documentary.
A word from the client:
"Wow!!! Magnificent!!!!! Bravo!!!!! Will and his team gets an A+ for this. Sincere thanks!!"
-- Pat Payne, IPS Office of Racial Equality
Director, Crispus Attucks Museum"Wonderful. Much appreciated, by me and everyone associated with the school and the museum. It went beyond any expectations I had for this project."

Junior Achievement of Central Indiana: 2016 Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame
The Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame Banquet is hosted every year by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. The organization honors outstanding men and women who have made a significant contribution to central Indiana and beyond. The class of 2016 includes Al Hubbard, John Thomson, D. Ames Schuel and his daughter, Bridget Shuel-Walker, and Steven Stitle.
A word from the client, "We had the pleasure of working with Will on a series of videos honoring Junior Achievement's Central Indiana Business Hall of Fame Laureates. Not only was Will extremely responsive and professional, he really went above and beyond with respect to all facets of the process including the challenge of scheduling a large number of interviews, at a variety of locations, and (of course!) within a very tight time frame. Will then did a fabulous job editing and intertwining the many video clips, photos and narration into a beautiful, touching and memorable final product. We look forward to working with Will again in the Future!"
